What colours are metal bed frames available in?
Iron bed frames are available in traditional colours such as black, white, ivory, silver, or pewter. They can also be painted in bespoke colours such as lighter baby blues, powder pinks, aquamarine greens, or dark metal bed frames such as navy blues or shades of black. Black metal bed frames, ivory metal bed frames, and white wrought iron beds are the most popular.

Assembly of our iron beds
The beds are delivered flat-packed and will need to be assembled. We do not provide assembly as standard. We do supply all tools and hardware required to assemble your product along with easy-to-follow instructions. We are also available to guide you through any assembly. You may find local services or online services which should be able to assemble the products with relative ease in 45-60 minutes. You do not need a carpenter.
Wooden sprung slat system
The base frames come with sprung wooden slats which are 20% thicker than slats provided by other Sellers in the market. The gap between slats is 60 mm and compatible with most mattresses available on the market.
Two height settings are available
Most of the bed frame comes with two standard frame height configurations, 14″ and 17″. You can choose the height setting at which you set the bed at the time of assembly. You may change the height set at a later date if you choose to.

Mattress Size: The size of mattress required for this bed frame
Width: The outer width of the bed
Length: The outer length of the bed
Head Height: The maximum height of the head end of the bed frame
Foot Height: The maximum height of the foot end of the bed frame
These dimensions are the outer dimensions of the bed frame. There may be variation of up to an inch on the dimensions stated here. Please get in touch for accurate dimensions of our beds.
Our frames are certified to BS 1725. Mattress shown is not part of the bed.
The ideal mattress height, that we suggest you should use is 6″ to 12″. Refer to the sizing given above in the DIMENSIONS.
